Downsizing with confidence
Downsizing isn't just a real estate decision. It's a lifestyle decision. My role is not to pressure you. It's to educate you, plan with you and help you move when the timing is right.
Does this sound like you?
Most downsizers I work with are 6 to 12 months out. That's normal. Good decisions take time.
- An empty nester ready for less maintenance
- Moving from a two-story home to a single-level villa
- Reducing monthly expenses and insurance costs
- Moving from a single-family home to a condo or 55+ community
- Considering selling now and renting before your next purchase

Common questions
Downsizer FAQ
How far ahead should I start planning?
Six to twelve months is ideal. It gives you time to declutter, make small repairs and look at communities without pressure.
What should I do with decades of belongings?
Start early and room by room. I can connect you with local estate sale companies, donation pickups and senior move managers.
Can I sell and rent for a while?
Yes. Many downsizers sell, rent short term and buy once they've found the right fit. We can also negotiate a leaseback so you stay in your home for a period after closing.
